6 Unique Ideas For Kids To Create By Using Iwájú Coloring Pages

The upcoming movie Iwájú has great appeal to children. Coloring sheets inspired by this movie can help children develop their imagination and creativity.

Below are ideas to help children make the most of their coloring pages.

Swap Characters

The world of Iwájú is bursting with unique and creative characters. You can transform them in a new way using Iwájú coloring sheets. Choose two or more coloring pages with characters you want to swap.

Then, you carefully cut the characters out of the page. Now, it’s time to get creative and swap costumes for the characters. You can even combine details from one character to another to create new looks.

Once satisfied, use masking tape to stick the swapped details onto white paper or other coloring pages.

Create A Collaborative Mural

This activity will help bond friends, family, or even the classroom. You can use images from existing Iwájú films for inspiration or brainstorm initial ideas together.

You will cut out individual details from the coloring pages. Then, stick them on a large piece of paper and gather your friends to color. You can assign sections to each participant.

After coloring, frame the picture and hang it on the wall. When the painting is complete, brainstorm a title and brief description.

Make A Mask

You can transform into your favorite characters by creating your own handmade mask. First, choose coloring sheets with portraits of Iwájú characters such as Tola, Kole, Otin or Tunde.

You can rely on the images in the movie trailer to color the characters or create your own way. Cut out the images individually and paste them onto a piece of cardboard. The next step is to punch two holes in the mask and thread the elastic through.

On Iwájú opening day, let your child wear this unique character face to show their love for the new Disney movie.

Build A Diorama

Parents can let children build a diorama inspired by the Iwájú world. You will need illustrations of many of the movie’s characters, cardboard boxes, scissors, and crayons to start your ideas.

The next step is to have your child cut open the cardboard box along one side and spread it flat to create a backdrop. Children will paint the inside of the background with the desired colors.

Choose characters from the Iwájú coloring sheet collection and color them to your liking. Cut out the selected details from the page and glue them onto cardboard for stability.

Children will use their creativity to paste characters and details onto the background, creating 3D scenes. Once completed, share this diorama on your desk, shelf, or online for everyone to admire!

Create A Collage

Children will combine different characters and details from our Iwájú coloring pictures collection to create a unique picture. They can cut out the colored characters they want to include in the collage and paste them onto a larger paper.

You can suggest your child add fabric pieces, glitter paint, or traditional symbolic motifs from other African cultures to the collage. Take a photo and share the one-of-a-kind collage you and your child create.

Design New Outfits

Children will have the opportunity to become fashion designers by transforming characters’ costumes in the future world of Iwájú. You suggest that children take a moment to observe the existing costumes of the characters in our coloring pages.

Based on each character’s personality, children will sketch new outfits for them by drawing on another white sheet of paper. Kids who want to get more creative can cut out outfits from different Iwájú coloring sheets and glue them onto the character to create a unique new outfit.

Remember, there are no limits to you and your child’s imagination! You can combine activities using Iwájú coloring pages or add ideas to suit your child’s interests and age. Coloring is considered the best entertaining and educational activity for children of all ages. Please remind your child of the most beautiful things they can get from coloring.

Don’t hesitate to share your child’s products on Facebook because this allows children to become confident and show their abilities to everyone.
