Roronoa Zoro, nicknamed “Pirate Hunter,” is a fictional character and one of the main protagonists of Eiichiro Oda’s One Piece anime and manga series.
Roronoa Zoro was the first member invited by Monkey D. Luffy to join the Straw Hat Pirates. Zoro is a swordsman and a master of swordsmanship, mastering three swords at once (Three Swords School) and is known to be able to wield two types of Haki currently.
Zoro is a muscular young man with tan skin. He always carries three swords with him and wears a green haramaki around his waist. Of the three swords he has with him, he always takes the Wado Ichimonji, while his other two blades change over time as they are destroyed and later replaced with better ones.
Zoro’s body is scarred from his many battles, and Zoro’s other distinguishing feature is his green hair which Sanji often teases him by calling him “marimo” (moss head).
As Luffy’s first companion on the journey to conquer the title of Pirate King in One Piece, Zoro is not only a practical assistant but also a friend who is willing to do anything for his captain.
Zoro may not be the smartest of the Straw Hats, but his loyalty to his captain is unquestionable. Zoro is a person who also values ?? honor and loyalty. Zoro never attacks an enemy from behind and believes that being slashed in the back is a swordsman’s greatest shame.
Zoro is a man with a kind heart, willing to risk his life to save someone he doesn’t know, and when fighting the weak or innocent, he often uses the sharp edge of his sword and expresses his hatred for the enemy wicked people.
